IBM ViaVoice
These training materials were developed for IBM ViaVoice Pro Version 9, but can readily be used with other versions of the program. At time of writing ViaVoice is available as Version 10, in Standard or Pro variants (see ViaVoice and dyslexic.com for more about the different versions.) If you have a limited budget, the Standard version (about £40) does most things you want – dictation, playback, text-to-speech. However, we recommend the Pro version (about £90) which lets you dictate into MS Office programs, has a USB microphone and works with more versions of Windows.
