BoardMaker files for Story/Symbol Packs
The Story/Symbol Pack is a set of materials available from the CALL Centre to help people develop interactive reading with seven picture story books (published by Walker Books) for young children. The Complete Story/Symbol Pack consists of:
- Seven Picture story books - Ten in the Bed, Walking through the Jungle, Owl Babies, My Old Teddy, The Big Red Bus , The Train Ride, The Bear and the Scary Night
- A Paper symbol chart, called Choose a Story, allowing the child to select their preferred story book
- Seven colour paper symbol topic charts or ‘story boards’, one for each book
- BIGmack Tops for sticking onto the top of a BIGmack - there is a page of two sets of three pictures for each story.
