In Irvine, rather than have separate timetabled presentations, there will be informal displays and demonstrations of different ways in which local teachers have been using ICT to support pupils with additional support needs in the classroom:
1) The use of stop-start animation with disaffected young people.
2) Using digital technology to provide access to music experience for learners with complex additional support needs.
3) The use of "Comic Life" as a self-assessment tool for young people who are Looked After.
4) Supportive technology in the classroom - the use of the Promethean Board. |
